FACES OF TECHNOLOGY F or nearly 17 years, the Florida High Tech Corridor Council (FHTCC) has served as a supporting partner of innovative companies whose concepts and products make the region an important technology hub. Equally as important as the companies and the technologies they produce, are the men and women behind those organizations who bring their experience and talents to the table. Over the past few years, the Florida High Tech Corridor Council has recognized those individuals who serve as the driving force for their industries through the Faces of Technology. This year, the Faces of Technology effort will surpass a milestone of profiling more than 100 technologists and scientists since starting in 2008. These innovators represent unique industry niches whose personal stories strengthen the reputation of Florida���s High Tech Corridor as a region for innovation and a growing economy. Faces of Technology spotlights have been shared both in print and online through social media outlets, university news magazines and websites, economic development organization publications and company newsletters. Short videos feature these profiles speaking firsthand about how they���re using today���s technology to create tomorrow���s breakthroughs at www.facesoftechnology.com. With more than 21,000 views, the stories have helped showcase the Corridor region���s assets to audiences who may not have thought of Florida as a powerhouse for high tech industry.
