WINE INDUSTRY CALENDAR March 12-14: Join Vineyard & Winery Management at Wineries Unlimited, the largest wine industry conference and trade show held east of the Rockies. The annual event will take place at the Greater Richmond Convention Center in Richmond, Va. Visit for details. May 20-22: The London International Wine Fair is where the international wine and spirits trade meets to explore, taste and buy wines and spirits from around the globe. March 14: Central Coast Insights, a day-long event focusing on business and economics issues of the wine industry in California's Central Coast, will be held at the Embassy Suites Hotel in San Luis Obispo. For additional information, visit May 21: The 18th Annual Vineyard Economics Seminar is a day-long event examining the business and economics issues of grapegrowing and winemaking. March 24-26: ProWein 2013, an international event for the wine and spirits industry organized by Messe Dusseldorf, will be held at the Messe Fairgrounds in Dusseldorf, Germany. See for details. March 24-28: The UC Davis Wine Executive Program, to be held at UC Davis, will help wine industry executives increase the success of their businesses and introduce them to state-of-the-art technologies for making and selling wine. "National" is the essence of this competition, representing the multitude of grape varieties grown shore-to-shore, from natives to hybrids to vinifera. April 24-27: The 2013 Intervitis Interfructa will bring together exhibitors from all over the world who are interested in the latest vinification methods and wine cellar technology. Organized by Deutscher Weinbauverband e.V., the event will be held at the Trade Fair Centre in Stuttgart, Germany. For information, visit May 15-19: The 17th Annual Nantucket Wine Festival, featuring more than 50 wine and food events, as well as renowned winemakers and world-class chefs, will take place on the harbor in Nantucket. For more information, see June 6-8: The 2013 Wine Bloggers Conference invites wine and industry bloggers, and other wine and social media professionals, to meet, learn and share at this three-day event held at the Penticton Lakeside Resort in Penticton, B.C. Details about this event, organized by Zephyr Adventures, can be found at June 16-20: Vinexpo 2013, the international wine and spirits exhibition for professionals, is expected to attract some 48,000 visitors and 2,400 producers from around the world.
