N Svedka has introduced two new flavors to
its vodka lineup: Orange Cream Pop and
Strawberry Colada. Orange cream pop is a
combination of vodka, icy orange cream and
vanilla flavors, while Strawberry colada is a
blend of vodka, strawberry, coconut and
pineapple flavors. Both sell for a suggested
retail price of $12.99 for a 750 ml bottle.
N Malibu has announced the
launch of Malibu Island Spiced,
a lower calorie spiced rum that
combines Malibu's rum and
coconut liqueur with light spices,
smoked vanilla, cinnamon and
Truvia sweetener. The 30%
ABV (and 70 calories/serving)
Island Spiced is available for a
suggested retail price of
$16.99 for a 750 ml bottle.
N Bandit Red Blend is now
available from Trinchero
Family Estates. The fruit-forward blend is well below a
sweet red, according to the
company, and is the first red blend available in
a Tetra Pak. Along with
the Red Blend launch,
Bandit is also making its
other wines available in
newly-designed 500 ml
and 1-liter Tetra Paks.
N Heineken USA has
announced its "Beers of
Mexico" pack will return
this summer. The 12-pack featuring 4 bottles
each of Dos Equis Lager, Tecate and Sol, will
be available in both cans and bottles.
N Bacardi has announced its latest flavor:
Pineapple Fusion. At 70 proof and only available in the U.S. market, Pineapple fusion joins
Bacardi's other 11 flavors. The combination of
pineapple rum and coconut rum is available for a
suggested retail price of $14.99 for a 750 ml bottle.
N UV Candy Bar Vodka is the latest product
from Phillips Distilling Company, joining the company's UV cake, chocolate cake and whipped vodkas, along with many other flavors. The fourtimes distilled vodka is available
for a suggested retail price of
$12.99 for a 750-ml. bottle.
N Absolut Hibiskus is the latest flavor in Pernod Ricard's
Absolut Vodka family. Featuring
a blend of hibiscus and pomegranate, Hibiskus is slightly
acidic, with a berry flavor underlined by notes of pomegranate,
according to the company. The product has no added sugar, is made from
natural ingredients, and has a suggested
retail price of $21 for a 750 ml bottle.
N The winning recipe from Budweiser's Project 12 is
now a new brand called Budweiser Black Crown, which
is available in 12 oz. glass bottles in 6-, 12- and 24-packs,
and 22-oz. single bottles. With an ABV of 6%, Black
Crown has more body, color and hop
character than the original lager, according
the company. The recipe was created by
Los Angeles brewmaster Bryan Sullivan.
N The Balvenie
Single Barrel,
Aged 12 Years
is the newest
expression from
The Balvenie. The single malt
whisky is aged for 12 years in
a Bourbon cask. Each bottle is
drawn from a single cask of a
single distillation, with no cask
yielding more than 300 bottles. The non chill-filtered
47.8 percent ABV Single Barrel has a suggested retail
price of $69.99.
