TOP OF THE NEWS Left to right: Erik Shelton, Matt Lauber, Douglas Olenick relationship manager for Shell Canada.  "We  selected  the  Wayne  solution  because  it  enables  us  to  add  this  new  fuel  offering  directly  at  the  dispenser  without adding new infrastructure."  The  integration  of  the  additive  option into the Ovation fuel dispenser  is  unique  within  the  industry.  Other  suppliers offer dispensers that provide  fuel additives, but require underground  storage tanks or primitive fuel additive  boxes attached to the top of dispensers  that may be difficult to fill.  In addition, the technology is being  implemented at 26 Shell-branded sites  through wholesale distributor Sobey's,  for a total of 86 installations that have  been completed or are in process. n OPW Fueling components personnel developments OPW Fueling Components (Hamilton,  Ohio), A Dover Company and the global  leader in commercial and retail petroleum  equipment, is pleased to announce that  Douglas Olenick has joined the company  as product manager for its Aboveground  Products Business Unit. In this critical role,  Olenick will be responsible for the development and implementation of strategic  product growth plans across each of OPW's  market segments. He will report directly to  Rahul Deshmukh, vice president and general manager of OPW Fueling Components.  Olenick joins OPW from GE Energy, Roots  Blowers & Compressors, where he served as  product manager. Recently he served in a  number of different management roles over  a 10-year period at Dresser Inc., ROOTS  Division in Connersville, Indiana.  Erik  Shelton  has  been  named  to  the  position  of  director,  Global  Business  10 APril 2013  Development—Clean  Energy.  In  his  new  role,  Shelton  will  be  responsible  for  global  deployment  of  key  strategic  initiatives across OPW's Clean Energy business,  which includes CNG, LPG and Hydrogen  dispensing  and  hanging  hardware  products. He will report directly to Keith Moye,  OPW's vice president, sales & marketing. Shelton  originally  joined  OPW  in  2004 as director of operations at OPW  Fueling  Components  in  Cincinnati,  OH.  In  this  position,  he  was  highly  involved  in  a  number  of  strategic  initiatives,  including  implementation  of  OPW's  automation  line,  deployment  of  Oracle,  and  Dover's  Strategic  Sourcing  Initiative.  Prior  to  joining  OPW, Shelton had more than 10 years  of  customer  and  operational  experience in Fortune 500 companies.  Matt  Lauber  has  been  appointed  project  manager.  In  this  role,  Lauber  will  partner  with  OPW  functional  teams and be responsible for planning,  leading and commercializing key projects  that  will  greatly  enhance  OPW's  ability  to  provide  its  customers  with  innovative  and  industry  leading  solutions.  He  will  report  directly  to  Aldo  Sucaldito, product manager for OPW's  Above Ground Business unit. Lauber  joined  OPW  in  August  of  2000 through a design engineering coop while an undergrad at the University  of  Cincinnati.  Later  that  year,  he  was  hired  full-time  as  a  design  engineer  where  he  has  been  involved  with  the  development  of  many  products  for  OPW.  Some  of  the  products  Lauber  has designed and developed during his  tenure  at  OPW  include  the  AST  EVR  product  offerings  for  the  California  market,  the  10  Plus  Emergency  ShutOff  Valve,  and  his  latest  contribution,  the AVANCE conventional nozzle. n Tidel engineering announces Tidel Financial Services Tidel Engineering, L.P. (Carrollton,  Texas), a U.S. manufacturer and world  leader in cash management systems and  robbery deterrence products, announces  the launch of Tidel Financial Services,  which provides lease and asset financing options for the world-leading Tidel  Sentinel Cash Management Systems.
