utdoors has always
been the place to be
during Milwaukee's
beautiful summer
weather. But when downtown
streets and facades become
an exciting outdoor art gallery,
there's even more to enjoy.
An interactive map and two
new murals continue Milwaukee
Downtown, BID

21 and the
Downtown Placemaking Task
Force efforts to make downtown
the place to be.
Adding to the excitement
is the return of Sculpture
Milwaukee's annual world-
class collection of monumental
sculptures along Wisconsin
Avenue and, for the first time,
in the Historic Third Ward.
Installation began in June
and will be phased in through
mid-July. For the first time ever,
many works will remain on view
through the winter.
"The sculptures are a visible
and vibrant reminder of our
city's unwavering resilience,
an invitation to re-imagine
our surroundings, take in new
perspectives and get inspired,"
says Beth Weirick of Milwaukee
Downtown. She continues, "We
