Blooming With Ideas
Standing inside Rotary Botanical Gardens in
Janesville, it's difficult to believe that it was
once a sand and gravel pit. But after 24 years,
it's now a lush and beautiful space featuring
24 separate gardens, spread over 20 acres,
and environmental and education centers. Full
of inspiration, the gardens offer tours, classes
for kids and adults and community events.
Open daily 8:30 a.m.-8 p.m. in summer. Admission: $5 adults, $3 youths ages 6-15, free for
