Industry News Schneider National Offering Drivers a $7,500 Sign-On/ On-Boarding Bonus Schneider National, Inc., a premier provider of truckload, logistics and intermodal services, announced today it is offering a $7,500 sign-on/ on-boarding bonus to experienced drivers and driving school graduates joining its tanker division. CHANGING LANES The bonus is being offered to quickly add drivers for growing, existing accounts and new business in the chemical industry. Schneider National Bulk Carriers, the company's tanker division, will add 100 drivers by July 1 to meet customer demand. "Although many segments in the U.S. continue to grow slowly, we have seen tremendous demand from existing and new customers in the chemical industry," said George Grossardt, vice president and general manager of Schneider National Bulk Carriers. Love's Travel Stops To Donate $3 Million To Oklahoma Disaster Relief Love's Travel Stops announced a $3 million donation to support the immediate and long-term relief efforts in Oklahoma following a devastating tornado that impacted the communities of Moore, Shawnee and surrounding areas. The first $1 million will be designated to the OK Strong Relief Fund established yesterday by Governor Mary Fallin to meet the long-term needs of victims in partnership with the United Way of Central Oklahoma.  Another donation of $500,000 will be given to Catholic Charities.
