Jerad Wittwer's and Todd Roccapriore's 379, Family Biziness, followed up its Best of Show victory in Wildwood with a Best of Show trophy at the Great West Truck Show in Las Vegas. Perennial Pride & Polish competitor Bill Sandvik won Best of Show, Limited-Mileage Combo, with his 379 and matching flatbed. ond consecutive year. His 1988 Pete 379 and matching Fontaine flatbed trailer – dubbed Hardway – features flames and skulls backdropped by purple and lavender base paint. Josh Skidmore of Brigham, Utah, won Best of Show in Working Bobtail with his 2007 Pete 379. Rounding out the Best of Show winners, longtime Pride & Polish competitor and perennial winner Bill Sandvik scored a Best of Show victory in the Limited-Mileage Combo category with his '98 Peterbilt 379 and matching Ravens flatbed. All four trucks now are qualified to compete in the Pride & Polish National Championship in Dallas in August at The Great American Trucking Show, where they'll com- pete against Best of Show winners from the five other Pride & Polish shows held since last August's GATS. Roccapriore's and Wittwer's '01 379 also won Best of Show in the same category in April at the 75 Chrome Shop Pride & Polish show in Wildwood, Fla. Roccapriore is owner of Hubron, Conn.-based Clean Slate Environmental and has a fleet of custom show trucks. His '07 Peterbilt 379, the Low Life, won the Pride & Polish National Championship last year in the Working Combo category. Wittwer – owner of PDI in St. George, Utah – and his 2005 Peterbilt 379 won the National Championship in the Limited-Mileage Bobtail category.
