N Phillips Distilling Co. launched two new flavor
additions to its UV Vodka portfolio of flavored
offerings: UV Salty Watermelon and UV Peach.
The brand now features 19 distinct flavors. UV
Salty Watermelon is the world's first salted fruitflavored vodka, the company says, and goes well
with a variety of mixers. The company notes
that UV Peach also provides plenty of flavor
versatility for a variety of cocktails. UV Vodka
carbon filtered and distilled four times. UV
Salty Watermelon and UV Peach are available
in all bottle sizes with a suggested retail price of
$12.99 for a 750 ml bottle.
N Cavit wines, from Palm Bay Imports, has created new packaging for its entire range of northern Italian wines. Taking inspiration from the
Dolomite Alps, the new labels feature a die cut of the Dolomite Alps,
along with a more prominent logo, and a
sharper, more detailed image of the Maso.
The new packaging also emphasizes Cavit's
"Eccellenza Italiana" (Italian Excellence),
which is embossed on the label. Both the
shippers and bottles also feature a color
band corresponding to each available variety: Pinot Grigio, Chardonnay, Riesling,
Moscato, Pinot Noir, Merlot and Cabernet
Sauvignon. In addition, Cavit Chardonnay
now features an "Oak Zero" designation to
reflect its unoaked style, and Cavit Moscato
is now available in a screwcap bottle to better preserve its vibrant frizzante quality.
The Cavit Collection new look debuted in
June nationwide on all sizes: 187 ml 4packs, 375 ml, 750 ml and 1.5 liters.
N Francis Ford Coppola
Winery has debuted its latest
addition to the Sofia label:
the 2012 Sofia Chardonnay
from Monterey County.
Sofia wines originated with
the sparkling Blanc de
Blancs, a gift from Coppola
to his daughter Sofia. The
collection has grown to
incorporate Sofia Minis (the
Sofia Blanc de Blancs blend,
in pink 187 ml cans),
Riesling, Rosé and now Chardonnay. A blend of 75%
Chardonnay and 25% Pinot Blanc, the Chardonnay
displays excellent balance, a supple texture and bright
flavors of crisp green apple, white peaches, juicy
pears, spices and a hint of citrus, the company says. Its
suggested retail price is $19.
N Newcastle has
announced the release of
Newcastle Bombshell, the
brand's newest limited edition ale. The English-style
blonde pale ale has a balanced bittersweet taste and
caramel sweetness, according to
the company. Bombshell is available in 6-packs
and 12-packs
