Show truck glory: Champs crowned today Four trucks today will earn a year's worth of Pride & Polish glory — and a lifetime worth of bragging rights — when the 2013 Pride & Polish National Championship winners are announced at 11 a.m. at the stage adjacent to the Pride & Polish area in Hall E. The awards ceremony is the culmination of a year-long series of Pride & Polish shows held at truck shows and industry events around the country. A national champion will be named in each of the following categories: Limited-Mileage Bobtail, Limited-Mileage Combo, Working Bobtail and Working Combo. Small fleet owner Vinnie Diorio's "Trend Settin'" combo, won Best of Show, LimitedMileage Combo at the Fitzgerald Pride & Polish show in Crossville, Tenn., in June. Also, the winners of the GATS-specific Pride & Polish competition will be named, including the four Best of Show trucks that will compete in the 2014 Pride & Polish National Championship series.
