Lightweight SherrillTree pruner This lightweight pruner head set includes one SherrillTree pruner head with adapter, two Jameson B-Lite 6-foot poles, one end with a boot, and 16 feet of pruner cord. The B-Lite fiberglass poles are lighter yet more rigid than other fiberglass poles and have less flex for greater control when connecting two to three poles. The poles are batch tested to 100KV per foot for five minutes. 1/2-inch Pro Spec Split Tail by SherrillTree Yale's 13mm Pro Spec Climbing rope in a split tail, Grizzly spliced in house by SherrillTree (5 feet long). 1/2-inch wire-core 2N1 Lanyard ISC Aluminum Locking Rope Snaps SherrillTree presented its new wire-core 2N1 Lanyard with ISC aluminum locking snaps. For as long as wire-core lanyards have been around, they've come with steel snaps. D-rings used to be steel, and the wire-core ends used to be uncovered, so it made sense to have steel-on-steel contact. Those days are over. Modern saddles utilize aluminum D-rings. SherrillTree-produced wire-core lanyards have the steel core encased throughout the entire lanyard. Terex TAC 720 The TAC 720 is 13-inch-capacity towable drum-style chipper. The 18-inch-wide by 13-inch-high infeed opening allows material with multiple limbs and branches to be processed with less trimming. The drum is 18 inches wide by 24 inches in diameter, and offers two full knife pockets with two knives per pocket. The difference compared to other chippers in the TAC range is that it has a directional forestry discharge chute, allowing for maximum throwing velocity. Terex Hi-Ranger SCM Series Designed with the utility operator in mind, the Terex Hi-Ranger SCM48, SCM50 and SCM55 overcenter material-handling aerial devices feature large, open bed space, low travel height and easy maintenance. The side-by-side lower boom configuration on the SCM Series provides overall height under 11 feet on a 40-inch frame for greater mobility. The low-profile of the SCM series allows for low platform stow near centerline of the truck to provide operators with exceptional clearance of overhead obstructions. The patented Terex Tri-Link Elbow provides operators with easy access to greasable bushings and bearings, needs no lift chains or cables, and does not require a mandatory overhaul during the truck's lifetime. All models have a GVWR of 31,000 pounds. SCM Series devices come standard with a side mount, one-person, 700-pound capacity platform, a minimized control hose loop, and standardized controls. Vermeer Arbor Quote Arbor Quote is an application designed for iOS and Android smartphones that allows tree-care professionals to create and manage quotes for their tree-care business, giving them the ability to send quotes from the jobsite directly to the customer's e-mail. This estimator gathers, stores and shares key data about tree-care jobs and customers — both past and current — including things like project name or number, customer information, job location using GPS, job detail, cost and supporting imagery. Arbor Quote not only streamlines the quoting process, but it also stores customer history that may be useful for future jobs, as well as e-mail notifications that a quote has been sent. Additionally, the application comes complete with GPS auto-fill functionality and a quote summary/close-out feature. www.arborage.com Arbor Age / November/December 2013 9
