Jim Beam has debuted Laphroaig 18 Year Old Single Malt Scotch, available in limited
quantities at select retailers nationwide. Full-bodied, intense, with a sweet oak nuttiness and
well-known peat smokiness, the 96 proof expression has a suggested retail price of $84.99 for a
750 ml bottle.
Terlato Wines and the well-known olive oil producer Colavita launched a joint venture
to release a collection of superpremium Italian wines. Terlato is producing and marketing
the wines under the Colavita brand name for global distribution. The initial wines for the

Absolut Chicago. Made from a blending of
olive and rosemary flavors, Absolut Chicago's
unique bottle was chosen from more than 170
submitted designs. The seventh flavor in the
brand's city-inspired portfolio, Absolut
Chicago retails for a suggested $19.99 for a

Early Times Kentucky Whisky has introduced its new Hunter's Edition bottle series
featuring a package that highlights sportsmen
and outdoor traditions. The special package comes in a square 750 ml bottle covered with a dark brown and green camouflage pattern. Available nationwide, it
has a suggested retail price of $11.99.
McCormick Distilling Co. has
launched Hook's Rum, available in
Spiced and Black Spiced versions (92
proof). Hook's Black Spiced Rum (suggested retail $16.99 for a 750 ml bottle)
is said to have notes of cinnamon, clove and vanilla, while
Hook's Spiced Rum ($14.99) has an amber color, velvety
texture and distinct island flavor, the company says.
McCormick also introduced a new whiskey, called Triple
Crown. The new brand is produced using premium small
grain bourbon that is made from a combination of smallgrain rye, malted barley and corn, and then it's blended
using a proprietary process resulting in an 80 proof
whiskey, the company says. Currently available in 35 states,
Triple Crown retails for approximately $19.99 for a 750 ml
bottle.
