"I put a couple of drops on the palm on my hand, cotton ball or tissue, rub my hands together, cup my hand over my face and breathe in for a count of five, hold for five then exhale for five. "Research has shown jasmine to be more beneficial than some sleeping pills," Wilke-Burbach says. Technique tip: Dilute about 15 drops of the essential oil into a carrier oil such as grape seed, olive oil, canola oil or sesame oil and then rub on chest and the bottom of feet. Or add 10 drops to a bedtime bath right before you're ready to soak. WAKE UP CALLS: Reach for citruses including lemon, bergamot, oranges, grapefruit or any of the mints (peppermint's a great choice).
