THRIVE DWELL IN THE BEGINNING, there was a door. But in Oakley's eye, that door led to her dreams. Behind it was a 970-square-foot blank canvas on which she and builder Tim Sweeney of Sweeney Construction could design, create and realize her perfect personal space. "We wanted it to be a place that wherever you were sitting, whatever you were looking at, it was very attractive and very nice," Oakley says.
