TRULAND HOMES, LLC T he opportunity to show off their design and construction talents to the public has come knocking for the past two years, and Truland Homes, LLC has answered the call both times. The Spanish Fort-based company recently completed its second Showcase Home in a row for the Baldwin County Home Builders Association. Constructed in the Beau Chene community of Daphne, the 4,540 square foot home was the centerpiece of the BCHBA's 2013 Parade of Homes, which included 30 houses in neighborhoods from Spanish Fort to Gulf Shores. "With the market recovery well underway in Baldwin County, we felt like the time was right to raise the bar with our 2012 and 2013 Showcase homes," said Truland Homes President Tom Stokes. "In addition to 'showcasing' the talents of our trade partners, we wanted to offer two incredible homes that convey the excitement in our marketplace and sends the message that the new home market is not only back, but it is vibrant and strong. We feel each of these homes accomplished these goals and has greatly benefited Truland Homes, the HBA and our fellow members by demonstrating to the public that the new home market is alive and well in Baldwin County." The Showcase Home was designed with old world charm and modern amenities in mind. The exterior is reclaimed brick salvaged from an old warehouse.
