WINTER RECREATION Ski Trails The Minot Park District maintains groomed cross- country ski trails at the Minot Country Club, Souris Valley Golf Course and Oak Park. Skating & Hockey Rinks Open skating, hockey and warming houses are available at Polaris Park and Corbett Field & Rink. Indoor rinks are located at the Minot Park District’s MAYSA Arena and the All Seasons Arena on the North Dakota State Fairgrounds. MAYSA (701-857-1544) and the All Seasons Arena are the homes to various hockey leagues, figure skating clubs and the Minot Curling Club. Call for availability of public ice times at MAYSA. GOLF Apple Grove Golf Course Highway 2 & 52 Bypass East 701-852-5460 9-hole • Par 29 • 1,538 yards Short executive course on the eastern edge of Minot. Minot Country Club County Rd 15 W 701-839-6169 18-hole • Par 72 • 6,586 yards Rated the state’s best classic course by Golfweek magazine. Immaculately groomed private course open to visitors. Roughrider Golf Course 220 Golf Dr, Minot Air Force Base 701-723-3164 9-hole • Par 36 • 3,155 yards Open to the public. Can be played as a par 72, 18-hole course with alternate sets of tees for playing the front and back nine. Souris Valley Golf Course 2400 14th Ave SW 701-857-4189 18-hole • Par 72 • 6,759 yards Challenging public course laid out in the scenic Mouse River Valley featuring wooded fairways and plenty of play over water. Jack Hoeven Wee Links 900 Forest Rd 701-857-1570 9-hole • Par 27 • 769 yards North Dakota’s only junior golf course made specifically for kids. Holes vary from 100 to 150 yards. Children golf for $1 and adults for $5. Wildwood Golf Course 8401 Highway 15, Burlington 701-725-4653 18-hole • Par 67 Located in the picturesque Souris River Valley near Burlington, just west of Minot. 23 Snowmobiling The Minot area’s Sno Trails snowmobile trail system consists of 350 miles of groomed trails open from December 1st to April 1st, depending on snow conditions. For current conditions, call 701-328-5377. West Connects Burlington, Foxholm, Carpio and Berthold; loops back to Burlington and Minot. North Connects Deering, Ruthville and Minot. There is also a connecting trail from Ruthville to Foxholm.  Southeast Connects Minot, Surrey, Sawyer, Velva, Granville, Deering, Upham and Towner. Connections other trail systems Towner to the North Central Trail System; Upham to Bottineau and the Peace Garden Trail System.
