Industry Focus Blaine Brothers expands through acquisition Northwood partners to create tire education program Blaine Brothers has acquired Minnesotabased Truckaline, Inc. Blaine Brothers says Truckaline specializes in full-service truck alignments, frame work and suspensions, including brakes and springs, and expands the company's footprint and service capabilities. "We have fully accredited technicians, which means the job is done right," says Kevin McCarty, vice president of sales and marketing at Blaine Brothers. "We also conduct DOT inspections and complete fleet maintenance. We use premium name brand products and focus on getting our customers back on the road. Northwood University and the newly formed Center for Tire & Service Education (CTSE) announced a new business education program targeting North American independent tire dealers. The new education program, Tire Leadership 21, was specifically designed to develop the next generation of tire dealer managers and owners. It covers a wide range of business, management and leadership topics that are critical to the success of future independent tire-dealer managers and owners, the organization says.
