"Surprisingly, it hasn't been that Michelle Fullerton hard. I know that sounds strange, but I have tried so many times in the past and life got in the way. This time, life tried to get in the way again with me having to place both my parents in a nursing home, but at the class we learned things we can do and how to change our attitude about it," she says. Michelle is a graduate of the Cox Branson Smoking Cessation class, led by Jim Brawner, a certified tobacco treatment specialist through the Mayo Clinic and a certified smoking facilitator through the American Lung Association. "Jim never said the obvious to us. We're adults and we all know smoking is bad for us," says Michelle. "That's the first time someone said they understand that this is going to be tough. I've never had that type of support before." 18
