Worried this hot hue is too loud? Don't be. "Each person has their own orange," explains trend tracker and runway gawker Lisa Barry, local stylist of Barry Chic. Cool down orange in your ensemble by pairing it with fuchsia, blues or neutrals—or fire it up and combo it with red. Bethany dress by Darling, $90; Middleton Dress Company, 1819 Parmenter St.., Middleton. shopmdc.com. Scarf, $24; Lu Anders Boutique, 7432 Mineral Point Rd., Madison. luanders.com. STYLE FILE DON'T BE AFRAID TO PART WAYS: If you never wear it, kiss it goodbye. "Nothing should be in need of repair, not fit well or not be ready to wear," says local stylist Lisa Barry of Barry Chic. If you're hoping to change sizes, she suggests giving yourself a deadline and if it doesn't fit at that time, it goes. KEEP IT CURRENT: When deciding which clothes to keep, ask yourself: Does it fit and is it in good condition? Does it compliment other items in my wardrobe? And importantly, says Barry, does it fit the image you want of yourself? RESTOCK TWO WAYS: Investment pieces (the classics you wear all the time) should be a major portion of your wardrobe, and should be where you spend extra dough. From there, add fun, trendy pieces and refresh from season to season. REPLENISH WITH ACCESSORIES: Whether it's splashy statement jewelry or a colorful scarf in the color of the season, accessories are a quick way to make your look feel new again. "It's less expensive and easy," says Barry, "and works when you just need that retail therapy fix!" FRESHEN UP YOUR WARDROBE CLOSET CURES
