Honda, booth 84030 (Honda Engines) and booth 3484 (Honda Power Equipment) Honda will feature the GXR120 rammer engine, which has a displacement of 121 cc and powers 110- to 175-pound rammers. A cast-iron cylinder sleeve and high carbon steel dual-ball bearing crankshaft boost engine strength for rammer applications. A maintenance free low noise timing belt creates a smaller, lighter and quieter engine, and a compact muffler, when combined with the OHC engine layout, reduces noise by 1 dB compared to Honda's current GX100 engine. A heavy duty recoil starter and automatic decompression system allow for easy engine starting, and an innovative lubrication system with dual breather chamber optimizes engine lubricating performance. The EB2000i generator will also be on display. Featuring key attributes of the EU series, the portable generator includes design enhancements such as a 120-volt/20A GFCI receptacle. The EB2000i has a rated max output of 1,600/2,000 watts with Honda's fuel efficient Eco-Throttle, which varies engine rpm to produce only the power required for the load, improving fuel economy by up to 30 percent.
