Burnaby has a long history of promoting the game with its diverse Reach-Out programs to local elementary and high schools and continues to be inventive in ways to grow the game by capturing the interest of youth in the area. But, like other golf course operators, the challenge is always about making the right investments at the right time. With the continued support of Burnaby's City Council and the Burnaby Parks, Recreation and Culture Commission, they have continued an aggressive approach to improving and enhancing their product and facilities. The past few seasons have seen additions of an impressive new 60- stall driving range and learning facility at Burnaby Mountain, and an elegant new Clubhouse at Riverway perched lakefront next to the 18th green with a gorgeous patio that is an attractive venue for any occasion. All of Burnaby's golf courses offer year-round playing conditions that are deemed some of the best in the lower mainland -- offering good winter playing conditions with their wall-to- wall drainage system installation. Still Burnaby is not resting on its laurels. They are currently remodeling all of their bunkers/traps on all golf courses with new drainage systems, liners and select sand to offer a rewarding experience on every visit, any time of year. The goal is simple - offer a high-value golf experience every day of the year with a smile. We invite you to visit one of Burnaby's golf facilities today.
