Five Questions R tions. You attended Elon University in North Carolina. Why did you decide to major in economics and marketing? Well, I always wanted to be in the business world and at Elon at the time ... the economics program was like the honors business program. What led you to the security industry? Honestly, I went to apply for a job that was a systems integrator job, and I really thought that meant software integration and I had no idea at the time that it meant selling cameras and card readers, but that’s kind of how it ended up. Obviously, you’re very successful in it. What do you like about the industry? There’s a lot of variation in your day-to-day activities, and presenting solutions to a customer is always a great challenge. You played lacrosse in school. Has that continued to be an interest? Just with my son (who’s in junior high). That’s how I spend most of my free time—at one of his games, one of his sports ... There’s probably not a bigger thrill in my life than watching my son play ball. Is there one thing you would most like people to know about you? I hope the Phillies win the World Series next year. —Tess Nacelewicz Periodicals Postage Rates paid at Yarmouth, ME and additional mailing office.
