That's why you'll find all the Peterbilt Model 384s in the fleet at Venezia Transport Service in immacu- late uniformity. "Our equipment is our brand," says Venezia, the company's incoming CEO and president. "The paint scheme and the appearance of these trucks makes a statement about performance to our customers. When we line them up, the only thing you'll see different on them is the unit numbers. We've even made sure all the stacks are turned at the exact same degree." Such attention to detail is only part of what has propelled this Pottstown, Pa.-based carrier to rapid growth. Since a modest start in 1967 by Joseph Venezia as primarily a dump hauler, his sons Frank, John and Andy have employed acute mar- ket awareness and targeted diversification to spur growth for an operation that now runs 500 power units and 1,500 trailers.
