During 2013, BCP had approxi- mately $16 million in revenue from sales of its products and services through its Houston, Texas, headquar- ters and its service facility location in Baton Rouge, La. Wacker Neuson has launched a Certified Dealer Award program for its full-line, contracted dealer network. The award recognizes Wacker Neuson dealers that show exceptional after- market service and support. To qualify, dealers must reach a minimal threshold on a point evaluation system, which is based on a variety of aftermarket services including spare parts availability, organization structure, machine record management and continuous training. Cummins Inc. has been named one of the Top 50 Companies for Diversity by DiversityInc for the eighth consecutive year. Cummins, which ranks 15th in the 2014 annual list, was selected from more than 1,200 companies that participated. Vacuworx is celebrating 15 years in vacuum lifting technology and heavy- duty material handling equipment. The company says it's poised for further growth as demand for reliable and innovative solutions in pipeline, utility, construction and trenchless horizontal directional drilling (HDD) applications grow worldwide. Atlas Copco's U.S.-based Quincy Compressor LLC has finalized the acquisition of the compressor business of National Pump & Compressor Ltd. and McKenzie Compressed Air Inc. in the United States. National Pump & Compressor has business locations in Texas and Alabama while McKenzie Compressed Air is focused on Texas. Representatives from North Dakota State College of Science (NDSCS), Komatsu America Corp., General Equipment & Supplies, Inc. and Road Machinery & Supplies Co. recently announced an educational part- nership resulting in the addition of a Diesel Technology- Komatsu program to the NDSCS Diesel Technology Department. Through this innovative partnership, students will receive state-of-the-art technical training on Komatsu construction equipment and related products. A combi- nation of classroom instruction, hands-on laboratory instruction and cooperative educational work experi- ence at participating Komatsu dealerships, such as General Equipment & Supplies, Inc. and Road Machinery & Supplies Co., will provide students with extensive experience servicing Komatsu equipment. "We are pleased to add Komatsu to our reputable list of partners and value their contributions to this program," said Dr. John Richman, NDSCS president. "With the recent completion of our $10.3 million diesel educational facility expansion, the time is right to add this highly technical Diesel Technology-Komatsu program." The program will launch in August, and graduates of the program will exit with an Associate in Applied Science degree. Through scholarship assistance, program costs associated with tuition, fees and supplies may be reimbursed up to 90 percent depending on a student's grade point average. "NDSCS has been pivotal in making this partnership happen," said Don Shilling, president of General Equip- ment & Supplies. "The need for highly educated diesel technicians continues to grow. In fact, we could easily hire a dozen technicians right now throughout our loca- tions in North Dakota, Minnesota and South Dakota."
