Volvo CE Inaugurates New Customer Center Volvo Construction Equipment (Volvo CE) inaugurated its world class North American Customer Center on June 23, with a ribbon cutting by Congressman Bill Shuster, Congressman Lou Barletta, Congressman Scott Perry, Volvo CE Americas President Göran Lindgren, Swedish Ambassador to the United States Björn Lyrvall, Pennsylvania State Senator Richard Allo- way, and other dignitaries. The inauguration marks the realiza- tion of Volvo CE's $100 million investment in its Shippensburg, Pa., facilities, which was announced in 2011. Hoffman Equipment Earns Department of Commerce "E" Award Hoffman Equipment was one of just 47 companies in the U.S. that recently received the President's 2014 "E" Award in rec- ognition of its significant contribution to increasing America's exports. Timothy Watters, president and CEO of Hoffman, and Musya Tumanyan, senior vice president, Hoffman Equipment International (right), accepted the award from Secretary of Commerce Penny Pritzker. Hoffman Equipment began export- ing construction equipment during the 1960s and 1970s, as- sembling packages of equipment for projects overseas. Buckeye Equipment Sales, LLC, is now an authorized distributor of the Terex compact construction equipment line in northeastern Ohio. Terramac LLC, a manufacturer of innovative rubber track crawler carriers, has announced McClung-Logan Equipment Company as the authorized dealer in Maryland, Virginia, Delaware and Washington, D.C., and McClung- Logan Crane & Equipment as the authorized dealer in North and South Carolina. McClung-Logan will provide equipment sales, rentals, applications expertise and parts and service support for the Terramac RT9 rubber track crawler carrier throughout its territory. Liebherr-Werk Ehingen GmbH recently delivered its 30,000th mobile crane. The Liebherr 500-tonner was supplied to the Mexican company Grupo DPH, a crane and heavy load contractor. Atlas Copco and Cummins both announced that they were listed in Newsweek's 2014 Green Rankings of busi- ness. Atlas Copco ranked No. 7 in among the largest public companies in the world, while Cummins ranked No. 86. GE Capital's Equipment Finance business launched a financing program for commercial and municipal customers of Generac Power Systems, Inc.
