Federal Motor Carrier Safety Ad-
ministration head Anne Ferro will
be stepping down as administrator
this month, the U.S. Department of
Transportation announced July 25.
Ferro will be assuming the role of
president and chief executive officer
of the American Association of Mo-
tor Vehicle Administrators.
At press time, no replacement had
been announced.
Transportation Secretary Anthony
Foxx said Ferro was a "true leader"
throughout her five-year tenure.

Driver Appreciation Week.
This year, Overdrive again
