CUSTOM RIGS GATS PREVIEW 64 | Overdrive | August 2014 Above Joel Dawes' 1988 Peterbilt 379 will be competing in the Limited-Mileage Bobtail category. He won Best of Show at the 75 Chrome Shop Show Pride & Polish in April. Right Perennial Pride & Polish com- petitor – and oftentimes winner – Bill Sandvik will be showing his 2005 Peterbilt 379 in the Working Bobtail cat- egory. The truck won the first-ever Pride & Polish National Championship in 2011. Jerry Mies' 2013 Peterbilt 389, a milk hauler that he calls the "Lactose Limousine," won Best of Show at last year's GATS. The truck will be competing in the Working Combo category. Josh Skidmore, also a defending P&P National Champ, will be competing in the Limited-Mileage Bobtail category with his 2007 Peterbilt 379. He won the Working Bobtail category with the truck last year.
