WAA has 88 trucking company partners moving loads of wreaths across the country and to Arlington. Last year, 141 loads of wreaths were transported to cemeteries nationwide, with 41 of them dedicated to Arlington. WAA head Morrel Worcester said they're looking to have more than 200 loads of wreaths delivered this year to cover the 240,000 mark- ers. Last year the group laid 143,000 wreaths at Arlington. Trucking also participates via the Patriot Pair program. For $30, a driver can purchase two wreaths, one that gets sent to Arlington and one to place on the truck's grille and later at a veteran's grave at a local cemetery. Of each purchase, $5 goes to the trucking image campaign of the Truckload Carriers Association, which sponsors Wreaths Across America. – James Jaillet Wreaths Across America sets goal T.F. SCOTT DARLING III was named interim administrator of the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration following Anne Ferro's departure to become president and CEO of the American Association of Motor Vehicle Administrators. Darling was appointed FMCSA chief counsel by President Obama in September 2012 and came to the agency from the Massachusetts Bay Transporta- tion Authority, where he served as deputy chief of staff and assistant general counsel.
