When choosing a no-idle system, heading down the right road is critical. Some manufacturers make false claims about their cooling performance – and you get hit with the consequences: Drivers are hot and miserable, units often need to be replaced, and you are frustrated. But with the NITE ® Phoenix system, you get real numbers – proven true in a recent independent test. In an independent no-idle test, our competitor's system produced 58.5% less Btu/hr than claimed, and was still 45% less than the NITE Phoenix. * 90°F indoor temperature / 75°F wetbulb temperature / 100°F outdoor temperature INDEPENDENT NO-IDLE TEST RESULTS Competitor 4,150 Btu/hr* 10,000 Btu/hr 58.5% AcTUAL cLAImED % BELOW cLAImED NITE Phoenix 7,500 Btu/hr* 7,500 Btu/hr 0% Untitled-7 1 4/8/14 9:37 AM Text INFO to 205-289-3555 or visit www.ovdinfo.com Truckers Against Trafficking debuted its Freedom Drivers Project at the Great American Trucking Show in Dallas. The mobile exhibit includes displays of ordinary objects, such as a prescription pill bottle and a CB microphone, to show the realities of trafficking and how intertwined it is with the trucking industry. "When you're inside the FDP and looking at the artifacts from trafficking cases and reading the stories of the survivors who had to endure so much at the hands of their traffickers and buyers, the issue becomes very real," said Kendis Paris, TAT executive director. Because the trucking indus- try has rallied to fight traffick- ing, it is "creating a replicable model for other industries to adopt, and encouraging every participant who walks through this museum on wheels to drive change right where they're at." Some of the FDP's first stops are a Toledo, Ohio-area human trafficking conference and trucking conference in mid-September, and a human trafficking event in Carlsbad, N.M. Other stops are being scheduled. – Max Heine NAVISTAR-INTERNATIONAL was denied a motion in federal court last month to dismiss one of the lawsuits brought against it over its 2008-13 model exhaust gas recirculation-only MaxxForce engine line. U.S. District Judge Barbara M.G. Lynn said Navistar's objections against the suit filed by Virginia-based dry goods hauler GCKMAT would be "more properly resolved at trial or on summary judgment." A FEDERAL RULE to rescind the requirement that drivers submit vehicle inspection reports when no defects are found now is at the White House's Office of Manage- ment and Budget and is expected to be published as a Final Rule by the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration in November.
