In the bobtail categories, Ashley's 2007 Peterbilt 379, dubbed "Double Take," won the national championship in the Limited-Mileage Bobtail category, and Brinker won in the Working Bobtail cat- egory with his pirate-themed 2000 Freightliner Classic. Ashley's rig also was named the winner of the Truckers' Choice National Championship, in which online voters selected their favorite. Nearly 20 rigs squared off for one of the four national titles at the event, which pit- ted the Best of Show winners from the five Pride & Polish competitions over the prior year, starting with the 2013 GATS event. Also eligible to compete were the Best of Show winners from the 2013 PDI Truck Show and Dyno Event, 2014 75 Chrome Shop Show, 2014 River States Customz Show and 2014 Fitzgerald Truck Show. Operator Mike Lemley of Mustang, Okla., won Best of Show with his 2000 Peterbilt 379 dubbed "Cathouse." The truck also won First Place in the Custom Paint and Working Bobtail (2000 and older) category. Dustin Pope of Greenville, Texas, won Best of Show in the Working Combo category, as well as First Place in the Working Combo, 2001-2007 category.
