Tacoma, Wash.-based Interstate dIstrIButor Co. announced a new Pay for Performance Bonus package that allows team drivers with six months of experience to earn up to an additional 6 cents per mile. Facilities C.r. england opened a 48,000-square-foot terminal in Colton, Calif., and added 10 new liquefied natural gas- powered Mack Pinnacles for its Southern California fleets. The 34-acre terminal has eight service bays, a truck wash and an 18,000-square-foot driver resource center that includes exercise equipment and a laundry. Honors dayton FreIght lInes, an Ohio-based less-than- truckload provider, won its first 2014 LTL Carrier of the Year Award from Penske Logistics for its work with Dana Holding Corp. in the categories of on-time pickup and delivery, communica- tions and EDI compliance. Con-way FreIght, an Ann Arbor, Mich.-based less-than-truckload company, announced that Doug Phelps became its fifth profes- sional driver to surpass 3 million consecutive accident-free miles. Phelps, who lives in Morrisdale, Pa., started with Con-way Freight in 1985 and is a 33-year driving veteran. Con-way Freight driver achieves 3 million safe miles Doug Phelps has driven for Con-way Freight for 29 years.
