Every day new technology is being introduced into the market place. There are new applications to choose from which help us to improve our golf game. It seems hard to keep up - I know it is for me! There are GPS apps, swing analysis apps, green reading apps and practice apps. There are apps for keeping stats and score, and apps to help us train. In this series on apps for golf, we look at the various instructional apps that can be used to enhance your golfing experience.
In this article I review three golf iPhone applications – all relating to keeping your score and stats, both on and off the course. As a self-confessed statistician, this was one app review that I really enjoyed getting stuck into. Having a simple method for recording your score and stats for your game is a great way for golfers to really gain a clearer understanding of the strength and weaknesses of their game.
