Meet "Boston Rob"! Host of "Around the World in 80 Ways" Rob Mariano Robert "Boston Rob" Mariano rose to fame on CBS' "Survivor: Marquesas" in 2002. Mariano's compelling performance resulted in a repeat appearance on "Survivor: All Stars," where he was the runner-up to his wife-to-be, Amber Brkich. Mariano proposed to Brkich during the live fi nale of "All Stars," and the two were married in front of millions of TV viewers on a two-hour CBS prime- time special. Mariano has been a contestant on two additional "Survivor" seasons, making him the only person to have appeared on the show four times. Mariano is a two-time com- petitor, along with wife, on "The Amazing Race."
