Both enhancements take effect Jan. 4. Super ServiCe increased driver pay from 1 to 3 cents per mile for all team and experienced solo driv- ers. The Grand Rapids, Mich.-based company also is expanding its Southeast regional fleet. Green Bay, Wis.-based SChneider nationaL increased pay for its van truckload company drivers by an additional 8 to 13 per- cent in mileage and bonuses. Facilities dayton Freight LineS of Dayton, Ohio, expanded its service center in Louisville, Ky., from 29 to 68 dock doors. The less-than-truck- load company expects to double employment at the facility from its current 60 associates. Carl Schultz, a driver for Starke, Fla.-based refrigerated carrier daviS expreSS, was named 2014 National Truck Driver of the Year by the American Trucking Associations. Schultz, a Tampa resident and the Florida Trucking Association's 2013 Driver of the Year, has more than 4 million safe miles in his 42 years of professional driving experience. Drivers eligible for the ATA names Davis Express' Schultz year's top driver ATA honor were named their respective State Truck Drivers of the Year. ATA considered each nominee's driving record, training, awards and driving champi- onships history.
