New Products & Packaging x Finlandia Vodka launched two new additions to the already existing Finlandia Mango, Lime, Grapefruit and Tangerine line of flavors. The new Finlandia Raspberry is available nationwide, and features raspberry flavors with hints of strawberries and subtle notes of chocolate, according to the company. Finlandia Redberry, available in select markets, is highlighted by sweet berry flavors. Suggested retail price for both is $17.99 for a 750 ml bottle. x Available from September through November 2011 is Fulton's Harvest Pumpkin Pie Cream Liqueur, from Heaven Hill Distilleries. The creamy all- natural liqueur features flavors of vanilla, brown sugar and spices, reminiscent of real pumpkin pie. It is best served chilled or on ice, as well as in coffee and in a variety of cream-based cocktails, the company says. The 12.5% abv liqueur has a suggested retail price of $9.99 for a 750 ml bottle. x Drambuie Liqueur has introduced a new premium expression, Drambuie 15. Drambuie 15 is made through a selection of old Speyside malts with soft, complex fragrance and flavors to complement the aromas of the liqueur's secret recipe, the company says, resulting in a more refined, drier expression liqueur that accents the whiskey taste. Drambuie 15, at 43% abv, is avail- able nationwide with a suggested retail price of $56 for a 1 liter bottle. x Mount Gay Rum, from Rémy Cointreau USA, has launched a new, higher proof rum: Mount Gay Rum Eclipse Black. Crafted from a blend of single and double- distilled rums aged from two to seven years, the new expression is 100 proof, and delivers strong character, intensity and enhanced aroma with a smooth, refined finish, the company says. The new rum expression is currently avail- able in the Northeast, Midwest, South and West Coast, at a suggested retail price of $24.99. x Constellation Wines U.S. has released the 2009 Rioja Vega Tempranillo from Rioja Vega, one of the oldest wineries in the noted Rioja region. The wine is 90% tempranillo blended with 10% garnacha, and undergoes minimal aging in French and American oak. The 2009 Rioja Vega Tempranillo is rich with a palate of ripe yet refined red fruit flavors, the company says, and is available nation- ally for a suggested retail price of $11.99 for a 750 ml bottle. x Bacardi has entered the spiced rum segment with the introduction of Bacardi Oakheart. The new expression fea- tures a blend of Bacardi Superior and Bacardi Gold, along with the addition of select spices (maple, cinnamon, nutmeg, honey, vanilla and caramel). The liquid is then filtered, resulting in a robust rum with spiciness and a variety of flavors. Oakheart is best served over ice or mixed with Coke, the company says.
