24 Beverage Dynamics • September/October 2014 www.beveragedynamics.com This year marks the 30th anniversary of this magazine's Adver- tising & Promotion Awards, which celebrate and reward the diverse range of product promotions, packaging, branding and customer engagement developed by brands throughout the bev- erage alcohol industry. The awards are judged by the editorial staff of The Beverage Information Group, Beverage Dynamics' parent company. The winners include beer, wine and spirits brands that cre- ated marketing and advertising campaigns reaching consumers from April 2013 through July 2014. You'll fi nd more information about the brands and teams behind those campaigns on the following pages. This year marks a major change for the awards, as we adjusted the entry categories to refl ect where brands are spending their marketing and advertising budgets. For the fi rst time, we included categories for social media and mobile campaigns — and also increased the number of digital media categories overall. If you're a marketer or ad buyer in the beverage alcohol industry and don't see your brand represented, be sure to check the March/ April 2015 issue of Beverage Dynamics for more information on how to enter the 31st edition of the Advertising & Promotion Awards. We'll continue to adjust the categories to refl ect the latest trends — and if there's a category you'd like to see next year be sure to let us know. Congratulations to all of the 2014 winners!
