Utah's increase of 5.9 percent from $346.8 million in gross sales for FY 2013 to $367.2 million in FY 2014 was the best among the control states. Ohio's 5.5 percent year-over-year in- crease was second best and New Hampshire's 5.4 percent increase was third. Thirteen jurisdictions reported an increase in revenue contributions, while four reported a decrease and Ohio did not disclose its revenue contribution. Wyoming's year-over- year increase of 13.9 percent led the way, while Maine was close behind at a gain of 13.8 percent. Alabama was third with an 8.4 percent increase in its revenue contribution. Despite a 1.9 percent decrease on the national level, 15 jurisdictions reported an increase in sales volume of distilled spirits cases in FY 2014. Montgomery County, MD, reported the top increase at 5.7 percent. North Carolina's increase of 4 percent was second and Utah was third with a 2.9 percent increase. Removing Pennsylvania from the overall equation paints a more upbeat picture for the control states. Year- over-year gross sales were up 4.5 percent when PA is re- moved from both data sets, compared to the 2.7 percent increase when all jurisdictions are included. Volume of case sales for distilled spirits jumps three points from a 1.9 percent year-over-year decrease to a 1.1 percent increase when Pennsylvania's fi gures are excluded. The following pages contain the individual sta- tistics for Fiscal Year 2014 for each of the 18 control jurisdictions.
