Clean, old-school 379
Owner-operator Sam Redmon of Irving, Texas, hauls bottled
Gatorade with this 2007 Peterbilt 379 and his 53-foot Utility
reefer. Since Redmon purchased the rig in 2010, he's added
a 20-inch bumper, a drop visor, Pete 359 fender lights and
aftermarket stacks. "Other than that, I just like the clean old-
school look," he says.
Chromed-up glider
Jeremy Anderson of Blair, Neb., hauls steel and livestock
with this 2013 Peterbilt 389 glider. The truck is powered by
a 550-hp Caterpillar engine and an 18-speed Eaton-Fuller
transmission. The rig has a Lincoln Chrome exhaust system
with 8-inch stacks, a Peterbilt oval grille with Kenworth bars,
a Lincoln Chrome rear T-bar, a stainless-steel drop visor, a
smooth-painted deck plate and a painted I-box between the
fuel tanks.
