Murrah federal build- ing. Recently retired from a 35-year over-the-road career, Birmingham won our September "public places" photo challenge with this picture, taken of the east wall of the memorial to the 168 victims. The Weatherford, Okla., resident took home a copy of Ben Long's Complete Digital Photography guidebook, as well as publication here, as prize. This month's challenge asks for your best shots of your truck, whether at home or out on the road — your chance to show off the beauty! For information on how to enter, get over to the Truckers News Photo Group's discussion area (http://flickr.com/groups/truckersnews) or see the notes section of our Facebook page (http://face- book.com/truckersnewsmag), then enter your shot and win! On children's musician Jim Gill's most recent CD/DVD, "Music Play for Folks of All Stripes," an interactive tune called "Truck Stop" schools listen- ers in a fun way on the basics of the driver's work. As with many of Gill's tunes, adults are coached toward leading kids through imaginative play. In this case, that means pretending to be trucks that stop and go and drivers that drink coffee, eat salads and pancakes and, finally, sleep. Find a video of the tune in the Sept. 23 entry on Truckers News Senior Editor Todd Dills' Channel 19 blog (http://overdriveonline.com/Chan- nel19), with mini-reviews of a cou- ple classic trucking books for the kids, or scan the QR code here to bring the video up direct on your smartphone.
