The kits include the basic necessi- ties for keeping Lone Star rigs drilling: a 4-inch casing flush tool, 4-inch cas- ing slips, a ⅜-inch hollow braid rope, hoist bracket bailer tripod assemblies, a PVC bailer, hard hats and a tool box with pipe joint compound, a grease gun, wrenches, and miscellaneous nuts and bolts. www.littlebeaver.com 58 February 2015 WWJ waterwelljournal.com McElroy Offers Hydraulically Adjustable Pipe Stand McElroy has brought hydraulic capability to its pipe stand line for 4- to 20-inch pipe to help align thermo- plastic pipe more efficiently on butt fusion job sites. The hydraulically adjustable pipe stand fea- tures hand- pumped hydraulic lifting, which gives the operator the ability to adjust the height of the stand while the pipe is still supported on the stand. The hydraulic adjusting feature eliminates the need to remove the pipe from the stand so that the chain and height can be adjusted by hand. This further re- duces the demand for extra equipment needed to maneuver and hold pipe in place, which saves time and boosts productivity. www.mcelroy.com
