an EER of 13.8. The 15RLS2 offers an HSPF of 12.0, a SEER of 21.5
and an EER of 12.0. The heat pump's heating mode is operational
with outdoor ambient temperatures down to -5˚F producing 75%
or more of the system's rated capacity. The system produces 100
% of heating capacity down to 20°F. For example, the 15RLS2
can produce up to 18,000 BTUs at 20˚F and produce 16,000 BTUs
even when the outdoor ambient is -5°F. The Halcyon system saves
money even when users forget. If occupants leave the room without
turning it off, ESP knows that they left and, 20 minutes later, tem-
perature is increased by 4˚F when cooling and reduced by 8˚F when
heating. When they return, the system returns to previous operating
mode. The RLS2 line is up to 25% smaller than the competition,
featuring a sleek front panel that covers the louvers and LED lights
when it is not in use. The simple, slim form and new, curved front
panel improves the appearance of the air handler, enabling it to
blend with wall surfaces.
