Rye has been in development for nearly ten years under the watchful eye of Master Distiller Chris Morris. The fi nal product, which uses a base of 53% rye, is balanced and subtle, with an empha- sis on spice. Rye has a SRP of $37.99 for 750ml. ANCNOC anCnoc has announced the release of its 1975 Vintage and 18 Year Old. The 1975 single malt was drawn from just three casks, and only 1,590 bottles will be made available worldwide. On the palate it has notes of fruit cake, sticky toffee and seasoned leather. SRP: $500. The non-chill fi ltered single malt 18 Year Old exhibits oriental spices and toasted vanilla on the palate. SRP: $105. AUCHENTOSHAN Single Malt lowland Scotch brand Auchen- toshan has introduced American Oak, a new Scotch matured in fi rst-fi ll ex-Bourbon casks. With fl avors of vanilla, caramelized, sugar, coconut and oak spices, the new spirit is 81.5% ABV. American Oak is avail- able for a suggested retail price of $39.99 for a 750-ml. bottle. BALBLAIR Balblair has announced it vintage lineup for 2015. The 2003 has fl oral notes and hints of citrus fruits, apricots and honey. SRP: $70. The 1999 is full bodied on the palate, sweet and spicy with hints of honey, vanilla and leather. SRP: $90. The 1990 has notes of raisins, toffee and honey. SRP: $140. The 1983 has scents of butterscotch, toffee, and/ or fragrant vanilla, and tastes of fresh fruits and honey. SRP: $330. MAIBOCK Gordon Biersch Brewing Company's seasonal Maibock is available now in stores, through April. The malty, German-style lager gets its fl avor from heavy doses of dark roasted caramel malt. It has an ABV of 7.3%. Six packs range in price between $8.99 and $9.99. SKINNYGIRL Skinnygirl has introduced two new products: spicy lime margarita and pinot noir. The spicy lime balances cool lime, spicy chili and tequila. At less than 100 calories per serving, the spicy lime is 19.9 proof and offered in bottles of 750 mL (SRP: $12.99) and 1.75 L ($19.99). The pinot noir contains fl avors of dark cherry, toasted oak and vanilla. At 100 calories per 5 oz. serving, the product offers a long and silky fi nish with juicy acidity. The pinot noir is 10% ABV and offered in a 750 mL bottle ($11.99). INNIS & GUNN Due to demand, Innis & Gunn has release its Irish Whiskey Aged Stout (7.4% ABV) in advance of St. Patrick's Day. The dark chocolate and coffee fl avors from the stout blend with the honeyed spice of the whiskey and the vanilla from the oak. The stout is available in a four-pack (SRP: $9.99) and in keg (SRP: $6-$7 for a 12 oz. pour).
