The smallholders working group, chaired by Indonesia, includes representatives from Bangladesh, Burundi, India, Iran Sri Lanka and Tanzania. Rachmat Badruddin, chair of the Indonesia Tea Board, leads the working group which acts as a forum for intergov- ernmental consultation and exchange on trends in produc- tion, consumption, trade and pricing. In 2014 the UN Secretariat will send a questionnaire to all member states seeking insights into smallholder conditions and conduct an analysis of data as a foundation for a report on regulations and guidance for smallholders.
