800-580-7554 www.pulsetech.net 5 Pro-HD 12/24-Volt Smart Charger on Wheels — Charger Recovery Unit The Pro-HD works on all types of 12- or 24-volt lead-acid battery includ- ing flooded cell, sealed, VRLA and AGM regardless of battery brand or capacity, making it the most versatile Charger Recovery Unit available. The Pro-HD is fully automatic. With the ability to sense whether it's charg- ing a 12- or 24-volt battery, it returns the battery to optimal levels without overheating or overcharging. The unit recognizes voltages from 110 to 240 volts and from 50 to 60 hertz, so it can operate safely anywhere in the world. It also features reverse polarity protection and a thermal circuit breaker. With Pulse Technology, the charge voltage and current adjust to maximize battery recovery and charging, thereby removing sulfates from the battery plates and extending battery life up to five times. The Pro-HD is enclosed in a portable, powder coated 14 gauge cold rolled steel box with semi-pneumatic wheels for mobility. This allows charging while batteries are still installed in the vehicle. Use either the heavy duty alligator clamps or the special heavy duty con- nector that fits into the NATO receptacle. Five LED indicator lights on the charger show the status of the charger and the battery being charged, making it easy to un- derstand what is happening throughout the charge and recovery process. "When a vehicle is brought into the shop, the batteries are tested to ensure that they are hold- ing a charge within 0.2 volts of each other. When that is verified, the Pro-HD charger is hooked up to the vehicle's slave receptacle.
