Alcoa says the wheel is 10 times more resistant than prior products to corrosion primarily caused by road salts and weather elements, and more resistant to chemicals found in the toughest truck cleaning agents. This durability enables the use of a wider variety of cleaning solutions, while preserv- ing the integrity and brightness of the wheel, the company says. The EVO is available for orders shipping in August on Alcoa's LvL ONE 22.5 in. x 8.25 in., and 24.5 in. x 8.25 in. wheels. New drive tire retread option Goodyear Tire & Rubber Company has released a new PreCure retread option for drive applications. The G682 RSD Fuel Max is SmartWay-verifi ed and features Goodyear Fuel Max Technology, which incorporates fuel-saving compounds and tread designs to lower rolling resistance and promote greater fuel ef- fi ciency; a rugged tread design for outstanding traction at all stages of wear; scrub-resistant compounding to help extend tread life by resisting excessive wear, chunk- ing, cracking and chipping; and 24/32-in. tread depth for longer tread life, the company says. The G682 RSD Fuel Max retread is now available in 225 mm width. Widths of 215 mm and 235 mm will be available in June. Roll-cage protected pressure washer Water Cannon introduces its new roll-cage protected pressure washer. According to Water Cannon, this new series is powered by Kubota Z602B1 or DH902B1 engines. It has up to 8.0 GPM and 4,000 PSI, as well as a fi ve-year manufacturer's warranty, engine warranty and fi ve-year prorated coil warranty. Cab heater control product Webasto Thermo & Comfort North America introduces its ThermoCall and SmarTemp Control 2.0. ThermoCall from Webasto allows drivers to preheat their engine from the convenience of a mobile phone. The new Webasto tool is compatible with Webasto coolant heaters, controlling on/off func- tions, programming heater start time up to 24 hours in advance, and setting a 7-day reminder. Webasto says SmarTemp Control allows users to manually set the timer so that the heater will turn on at a desired time/day, with duration options of 30-, 60-, 90- and 120-minute time periods. Aftermarket fi lter catalog MAHLE Aftermarket Inc. has released a comprehensive fi lter catalog for vehicle applications in the United States, Mexico and Canada, that includes all the company's product offer- ings in one resource. The catalog, which covers more than 90 percent of vehicles in operation in the three countries, features over 1,200 air, oil, fuel and cabin air fi lters, including 125 new part numbers, the company says. Air suspension system kit Link Manufacturing, Ltd., announces a new, improved and compact integrated electronic air kit for the UltraRide chassis air suspension system. Link says the UltraRide is designed to improve the ride and handling of light- and medium-duty work trucks, buses and emergency service vehicles. The small air kit footprint, less than 2 ft. of frame space, provides the fastest ride-height recovery in the industry and offers up to 150 psi output, yet has a noise level similar to normal conversation, the company adds.
