Most recently, Hohler served as presi- dent of the Tools Business Segment within Newell Rubbermaid, Inc. He has held several different divisional president posi- tions within Newell Rubbermaid since he joined the company in 2001. Between 1991 and 2001, Hohler held numerous managerial positions within the Black & Decker Corporation. Hohler earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Journalism from Bowling Green State University in 1988 and an MBA in Marketing from John Hopkins University in 2000. "I'd like to welcome Jeff to Husqvarna Group," said Kai Wärn, president and CEO of the Husqvarna Group. "His management and leadership skills, his solid retail experience and turnaround track record will be great assets for our Consumer Brands Division, as well as for the Group." Hohler's predecessor Alan Shaw is leaving Husqvarna Group in order to pursue other interests. "I want to thank Alan for his valuable contributions during his time with the Husqvarna Group," said Wärn. "I am also grateful to Alan for remaining with the Group until we found his successor and wish him the best of luck in the future." HOT NEWS GIE+EXPO announces return of Dealer Day keynote lunch Back by popular demand, the keynote lunch will return to Dealer Day at GIE+EXPO in Louisville, Ky. On Oct. 21 from 1 to 2:30 p.m., an opening lunch featuring New York Times bestselling author Steve McClatchy will kick off the 2015 show. Following the keynote, dealers, retailers, distributors and the media will be treated to an exclusive preview of the show. McClatchy, the author of Decide: Work Smarter, Reduce Your Stress & Lead by Example and president of Alleer Training & Consulting, has spoken before thousands of audiences on the topics of leadership, performance, personal growth, and work/ life engagement. His client list includes the National Football League (NFL), Google, Pfizer, Microsoft, Disney, Comcast, Accenture, HP, Discovery Channel, DHL Europe, Tiffany's, Wells Fargo and Campbell's Soup. McClatchy is best known for his passion, sense of humor and energetic personality. In his thought-provoking and inspirational presentation, "Lead Your Team, Don't Just Manage the Process: Align Systems & Drive Measurable Results," McClatchy will discuss the differences between management and leadership. Dealers will learn to identify when their team needs management and when their team needs leadership. After this session, participants will be equipped to: Create a compelling team purpose, list of values and team goals Correct misalignments and remove obstacles in the way of the team's success Keep the team motivated and focused on producing measurable results GIE+EXPO will be held Wednesday, Oct. 21, through Friday, Oct. 23, at Louisville's Kentucky Exposition Center. Wednesday will be an exclusive preview day for dealers, retailers and distributors to meet one-on-one with exhibitors; attend seminars; and preview new products featured at the trade show and Hardscape North America (HNA), which is co-located with GIE+EXPO. A Dealer Resource Pavilion — offering products, advice and techniques to generate high performance — will be open 9 a.m.-7 p.m., and indoor exhibits will be open 3-7 p.m. During a welcome reception on the show floor from 5 to 7 p.m., many of the exhibitors will host games, food, festivities and prizes in their booths. On Thursday and Friday, the trade show and the adjacent Outdoor Demonstration Area will be open to all in the industry. The keynote lunch is sponsored by Gravely and Stihl.
