Saturday morning, advanced enology sessions include a "Legislative Update," led by Jennifer Mont- gomery of Wine America in Washington, D.C. Mean- while, introductory enology will delve into "Small Winery Bottling: Options and Issues," with Patricia Howe of ETS Laboratories in Roseburg, Ore. This year, for the first time, MGWC will offer short sessions on both Friday and Saturday afternoons. Led by Slater, these 60-minute immersive sessions will be limited to 10 attendees each. Sunday's schedule includes blended sessions on viticulture and enology that will tackle the business of grapegrowing and winemaking, along with market- ing sessions devoted to "Nitty Gritty PR Solutions for Small Wineries," where attendees will learn how to get the most for their PR dollar and cost-effective solu- tions to PR problems. SOCIAL EVENTS In addition to seminar sessions and scores of new products on the trade show floor, MGWC offers a full slate of social events. Sunday, Feb. 12, noon - 1:30 p.m. Join fellow attendees at the Embassy Suites Hotel Atrium for a luncheon featuring Madeline Triffon, the first American woman to earn the title of Master Som- melier. For many years, Triffon managed some of the country's finest wine lists.
