Summit Drilling Inc., an environmental drilling and remedial injection services company, announced Tory Donnelly, the company's executive vice president and chief operating officer, has been named president. Be- fore joining Summit Drilling, Donnelly was a 20-year vet- eran of environmental con- sulting. As a consultant, she managed major petroleum accounts and established her- self as a champion of health and safety. John Deere Landscapes acquired AMC Industries, an irrigation and water products distributor headquartered in San Antonio, Texas. Terms were not disclosed. AMC, founded in 1924, has nine locations in Texas and Oklahoma. CH2M announced two of the firm's projects received industry awards during the Global Water Awards cere- mony. Presented on April 27 in Athens, Greece, the 2015 Global Water Awards were awarded in conjunction with Global Water Intelligence magazine's annual Global Water Summit and celebrate outstanding achievements in the international water industry. Kreilick Jr. AWARDS WWJ July 2015 65 Twitter @WaterWellJournl National Ground Water Association Past President Griffin Crosby, Jr., CWD/PI, received the Florida Ground Water Association Lifetime Achievement Award and a lifetime membership at its annual convention and trade show, May 7-9 in Orlando. Crosby, president of Crosby Well Drilling Inc. in Lake Wales, Florida, served as an FGWA director for 26 years and was president in 1999. During his presi- dency, Crosby initiated the continuing education pro- gram for Florida water well contractors that ultimately was passed into law and is still in place today. Crosby served on a vari- ety of FGWA committees while he was a director, with govern- ment affairs his favorite. Only three times in FGWA's 75-year history has the lifetime membership been awarded, and Crosby is the third recipient. Crosby served as NGWA president in 2014. Y WH C T GE Y ?
