The M 4CT is highly maneuverable, easy to operate, and efficient. The drill is perfect for a vari- ety of applications such as construction and engineering, with a carrier that has the added safety of a roll-over protec- tive cab. Among its features are the driver roll-over protection, small size and maneuverability for accessing difficult locations, power for difficult drilling in shallow to intermediate boreholes, and easy transportability. Options include a pivoting 180° deck, autohammer, grout pump, and front-mount auger rack. www.marltechnologies.com Lone Star Drills' Bits Power Through a Range of Formations Little Beaver manufactures four bits for its Lone Star Drills to keep rigs boring in several applications including water well, geotechnical, and geothermal drilling. Step drag bits, standard with Lone Star Drill rigs, are excellent for drilling through clay, sand, and medium-hard formations. Roller cone bits power through tough soils due to their tungsten-carbide inserts, which also last longer than steel-based products. PDC bits feature diamond cutters that maximize productivity in medium rock formations such as granite and sandstone. Claw bits are ideal for the most challenging clay formations because their fingers dig and loosen the soil easily. www.littlebeaver.com WWJ July 2015 67 Twitter @WaterWellJournl Make your mission easier.
