General Pump Introduces New High-Torque Clutch Assembly General Pump introduces a new electromagnetic mobile clutch assem- bly featuring a 9¾-inch, 2-groove pul- ley. The groove pulley receives both "A (4L)" and "B (5L)" belts, and works for higher-horsepower 59 (here pictured), 47, and 66 Series pumps. A one-piece solid forged rotor means no chance of internal parts sepa- rating and offers torque maximization. When an electromagnetic clutch such as these is used, pump life is extended. The new pulley is made of zinc-coated steel and is simple to install. www.generalpump.com Delta Screens Manufactures High-Performing Stainless Steel Screens Water well drilling is a rugged busi- ness. The stresses of installation along with the pressures and corrosion encountered downhole require a tough screen. Delta Screens manufactures its wedge wire stain- less steel screens with some of the industry's most experienced screen craftsmen and the most advanced screen-building tech- nology in the world. Delta Screens' stainless steel screens will stand the test of time with your water well appli- cation, whether it's a small domestic well or a large municipal installation. Delta Screens' stainless steel tele- scope screens and pipe size screens are available in 304 or 316 grade stainless steel in a wide range of diameters. www.deltascreens.com Ergodyne Adds New Patterns to Eye Protection Models Ergodyne announced the availabil- ity of two new Kryptek camouflage patterns to their popular Skullerz eye- wear series. The two new Highlander and Typhon patterns transcend the line from workplace to woods, delivering ANSI compli- ance with a unique and cutting edge look for wear on and off the job. The Bureau of Labor Statistics esti- mates three out of five workers with reported eye injuries were not wearing their safety glasses at the time of in- jury. Ergodyne's goal for Skullerz eye- wear is to provide workers with safety glasses that are compliant, comfort- able, stylish, and ultimately something they want to wear. www.ergodyne.com Featured PRODUCTS TB Wood's New Sure-Flex Sleeves Provide Longer Service Life The original TB Wood Sure-Flex coupling design, an industry favorite for more than 50 years, just got even better. New Sure-Flex Plus EPDM and Neoprene sleeves have a 30% higher torque rating, allowing common appli- cations to use a coupling one size smaller at an average 25% cost sav- ings. This lowers the cost of the initial coupling purchase and future sleeve replacements. Extensive testing shows size-for- size, Sure-Flex Plus sleeves last more than three times longer. The longer service life in demanding applications reduces required maintenance and associated replacement cost. The Sure-Flex Plus sleeve design is 100% compatible with all existing TB Wood and competitive coupling flanges. www.tbwoods.com/sureflexplus waterwelljournal.com 56 August 2015 WWJ
